WSP searching for State Route 18 shooting suspects

FIFE, Wash. - Washington State Patrol and Fife Police are searching for multiple suspects connected to a shooting on State Route 18.

Fife Police say the shooting happened on SR 18 near SE 304th Street Wednesday afternoon. WSP says a white Dodge Charger shot at another vehicle multiple times, striking the driver's side rear door and left front fender.

WSP aircraft tracked the Charger into Fife, and police and K9 units searched the area of an apartment complex off 62nd Avenue E., where the suspects were last seen.

Though police recovered a gun and clothing, the suspects left the scene in a different vehicle prior to law enforcement arriving.

WSP detectives are seeking any witnesses that observed the Dodge Charger before, during or after the shooting to include any dashcam video. Please email Detective Haake at Russ.Haake@wsp.wa.gov.
