The high cost of throwing community events

Last week, we celebrated Pride. The Torchlight Parade is just around the corner, and tomorrow, streets will be closing all over for Independence Day festivities. However, the costs of organizing these community events, particularly in Seattle, are putting organizers in a pinch.
